Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!! Wills is taking his Daddy to the most amazing restaurant in Guildford @positanoguildford
I’ve decided to got for a fairly casual look (as I have been up since 4:20am) but will smarten up with a blazer!
It is amazing how adding just one item can transform an item and I love this blazer as it is ruched on the sleeves so gives you the effect of pushing the sleeves up without the annoyingness of them falling back down!
In true British style, we have gone from gorgeous & warm sunshine to cold & miserable rain! It’s so hard to know how to dress!
Today I have put together this outfit to try and brighten up my day whilst keeping me dry!
This animal print fold away rain jacket from @marksandspencer is great as you can keep it in your bag at all times for emergencies! I love the fact it has a patten on it too, it elevates it from the usual pack-away-mac!
This jumper from @otherstories is perfect for this in-between weather as it keeps you warm but it is not too heavy. If you feel it is still a little lightweight then you can put a cami top underneath but with the rain jacket onto it will ensure you don’t get too hot! Even better is the fact that it is on promotion and is now £15 (originally £49!). There is nothing worse then when jeans get wet and they become scratchy and heavy! With theses @hmleggings, you get the jean look but without the downsides which makes them great for rainy days. Just bear in mind that these are low waisted so unless you are wanting to show some midriff (wish I was still able to!) then you will want to consider a longer top, the @otherstories one works fine!
Where possible I try to avoid wearing leather shoes in the rain as I always find they can leave a slight water mark if it really is heavy rain and I am outside for a while. These Chelsea wellies from @hunter are great as they give you the ‘safety’ of wellies but really rock the Chelsea/biker boots look!
Finally just because the weather is dull it doesn’t mean your make up has to be! @lauramercier has just released some gorgeous new shades of lipstick and I am a massive fan of this colour (Rose Claire). All products can be found by clicking on the below links.
I’m starting to get all my cosmetics together for holiday..a bit early I know but best to be prepared!
As we are going to Barbados there is only one beauty brand that I feel is appropriate and that is of course Rihanna’s amazing beauty range, @fentybeauty
Currently you can only shop the range at @harveynichols but you don’t need to worry if you don’t use one as you can match a colour to your current foundation to get that exact shade that is right for you!
The concealer and foundation come in the same colours to get an exact match and the setting powder is fairly easy to pick!
The primer is one shade only so no need to worry there either!
It also goes without saying that the only make up bag worthy of a holiday is the 2 in 1 by @donnamaymakeup This is literally the best make up bag ever! You can see everything at once.
I’ve had quite a few friends ask about @beautypie and have since joined up so I wanted to post this to explain how it works and also to give you the link to a free month (it doesn’t tell me who has signed up btw!) You take out a membership (if you like, there is an option to buy without membership but prices are higher) for a minimum of 3 months and for that you get a spending allowance.
This is an example of how you could spend you £100 monthly limit on 5 lipsticks!
For example, you pay your £10 monthly subscription and you get a £100 to spend. A lipstick in the site costs £20 but as a member it only costs you £4.40. So you could buy 5 lipsticks to add up to £100 and it will cost you your £10 subscription as well as £4.40 per lipstick which adds up to £22 so all in all you have paid £32 for 5 lipsticks which would usually cost you £100.
Happy Easter! I’m seeing all my family today and hopefully we will be sitting in the garden thanks to this gorgeous weather we are having at the moment!
I’m wearing this @boohoo maxi dress today. I love it as it is ruffled at the side so flatters any body shape! Today I am wearing it with gold flip-flops but it can easily be worn with heels too!
As my dress is grey I am adding a pop of colour with @tomfordbeautyLipgloss and Nail polish. I love this lipgloss as it is lovely and shiny when you put it on but it also leaves a stain on the lips so you don’t have to keep applying and the nail polish is a perfect match!
To finish I am using the @theouai hair and body mist. It is a fab all in one so perfect for holiday! It also leaves an amazing shimmer and smells devine!
